Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-02

In plain English

  • Use the service for lawful learning. Don't try to break it.
  • Children under 13 need a parent account (COPPA).
  • We may improve the product, including how Aria teaches.
  • You own the work you submit; we get a license to process it to teach you.
  • We provide the service "as is" — no warranties.
  • Disputes are settled by binding arbitration except where law forbids.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Aria service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be 13 or older to create your own account. Children under 13 may use the Service only through a parent-owned account (see our Privacy Policy for COPPA details). Institutional accounts (schools) require an adult administrator.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account, including your password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract training data from Aria.
  • Submit content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful to others.
  • Impersonate another person or attempt to access another learner's account.
  • Use the Service to develop competing AI models.
  • Bypass session caps or rate limits programmatically.

5. Content and licenses

You retain ownership of work you submit (answers, voice, drawings). You grant Ariovox Labs LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your content for the purposes of providing the Service — diagnosing your understanding, generating responses, and improving the platform's pedagogical model. We will not sell your content or use it to train models for unrelated commercial purposes.

6. Service availability and modifications

We're an actively developing platform. Features may change, be improved, or be removed. We aim to give reasonable notice before removing functionality you depend on. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds

Paid plans, when available, are billed monthly in advance in US dollars and renew automatically unless cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. During beta the Service may be free of charge.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle; you will not be charged again after cancelling.

Refunds. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, an unintended renewal, or a technical problem that prevented you from using the Service — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will make it right, including a full refund where appropriate. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time mid-cycle; cancel to avoid the next charge.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ariovox Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

9. Dispute resolution

Disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these terms by emailing us. Class actions are waived.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
